About the Japan Education Center of Environmental Sanitation
The Japan Education Center of Environmental Sanitation is the operating organization for the national exams for johkasou managers and technicians, based on the Purification Tank Act.
We work to raise public awareness about improvements in johkasou technology, training of related engineers, progress of continuing education, development of research on johkasou, technological development, and the treatment of drainage from johkasou ; we also work for the preservation of local living environments and improvement of public health and sanitation.
