Johkasou Inspector Training Information

Subject matter

 This education center conducts workshops that contribute to specialized knowledge and skills related to the inspection of johkasou specified in Article 55, Paragraph 1, Item 5 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Johkasou Act, which is related to the Ministry of the Environment.
 The legal examination conducted by the Johkasou Inspector is a "water quality examination" stipulated in Articles 7 and 11 of the Johkasou Act. A public third party (specified inspecting agency) inspects whether johkasou is performing as expected.

Examination

 On the final day (day 7), all subjects from (1) to (10) above will be examined (2 hours). In addition, for those who fall under a of “eligibility” (Johkasou Operator), the examination time will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Qualification

 A person who falls under any of the following and must be recommended by the prefecture.

 A Johkasou Operator

 (a) Those who have graduated from a university (excluding junior colleges) under the School Education Act or a university under the old university ordinance after completing a course in science, pharmacy, engineering, agriculture, or equivalent.

 C. Those who have experience in technical work related to johkasou for two years or more after graduating from a university (excluding junior colleges) based on the School Education Act or a university based on the old university ordinance.

 A person who has completed a course of study in science, pharmacy, engineering, agriculture or an equivalent field at a junior college or a technical college based on the School Education Law or a vocational school based on the former Technical School Ordinance and has two or more years of experience in technical work related to the workforce.

Tuition fee

 Those who meet the above "Qualifications for Attending" (those who attend from the third day due to the first and second day exemption) will pay 94,800 yen.

    * Two photographs of your face (4.5cm height, 3.5cm width, taken within six months prior to submitting the application, without a hat, without a background, from the front)
    *85 yen worth of stamps
    *For those who choose partial exemption, a copy of the "Johkasou Operator diploma" issued by the Minister of the Environment based on Article 45, Paragraph 1 of the Johkasou Act.
