Johkasou Inspector Training Information | Japan Education Center of Environmental Sanitation

Subject matter

　This education center conducts workshops that contribute to specialized knowledge and skills related to the inspection of johkasou specified in Article 55, Paragraph １, Item ５ of the Enforcement Regulations of the Johkasou Act, which is related to the Ministry of the Environment.

　The legal examination conducted by the Johkasou Inspector is a "water quality examination" stipulated in Articles ７ and 11 of the Johkasou Act. A public third party (specified inspecting agency) inspects whether johkasou is performing as expected.

Course content

Examination

　On the final day (day ７), all subjects from (１) to (10) above will be examined (２ hours). In addition, for those who fall under a of “eligibility” (Johkasou Operator), the examination time will be １ hour and 30 minutes.

Qualification

　A person who falls under any of the following and must be recommended by the prefecture.

　A Johkasou Operator

　(a) Those who have graduated from a university (excluding junior colleges) under the School Education Act or a university under the old university ordinance after completing a course in science, pharmacy, engineering, agriculture, or equivalent.

　C. Those who have experience in technical work related to johkasou for two years or more after graduating from a university (excluding junior colleges) based on the School Education Act or a university based on the old university ordinance.

　D. After graduating from a junior college or technical college based on the School Education Law or a vocational school based on the former Professional Training College Ordinance after completing a course of science, pharmacy, engineering, agriculture, or equivalent courses, for two years or more Technical skills related to johkasou Those who have experience in business.

Tuition fee

　For applicants for whom the A portion of "testing requirements" applies (testing on 3rd day onward due to first day/second day exemption), 94,800 yen

　For applicants for whom the A portion of the above "testing requirements" as well as I/U/E apply, and who request testing on the first day, 119,300 yen　*Tax-free transaction

　1. As a general rule, tuition fees cannot be refunded once your application has been accepted.

　2. If a course is cancelled or an answer sheet is not accepted due to a natural disaster or other unavoidable accident,
